Dave Krause, Professional Engineer, is the Owner of Krause Power Engineering. He has more than 25years experience in electric power systems engineering and management for municipal, rural electric cooperative and investor owned utilities including system planning, project design and engineering, cost estimation, contingency planning, specifications, construction and construction management, safety training and program development, technical training, system startup, power quality testing, expert witness testimony and system restoration. The types of projects David has been involved in include electric distribution system conversions, electric transmission system reconstruction, substation initiation and expansions, stray voltage testing and litigation, OSHA accident investigations, industrial power quality testing, interconnection of distributed generation to electric distribution systems, reliability assessments and distribution automation.
Korrie Krause, Office Manager, has a BA in Human Resource Management and has more than 30 years of experience working in the electric utility industry. She is responsible for the company’s accounting and payroll systems. She directs the specification, contract and proposal processes.
Mark Potratz, Electrical Systems Designer, has a diploma in Design and Drafting Technology and a bachelor's degree in Architecture. He designs, edits, and verifies a variety of electrical drawings including schematics, wiring diagrams and substation layouts. He has 11 years of experience working with CAD and is an Autodesk AutoCAD Certified Professional.
Trent Schmidt, Electrical Systems Designer, has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and is currently an EIT. He has over 6 years of civil construction, project management, and design experience. He designs, edits, and verifies a variety of electrical drawings including schematics, wiring diagrams and substation layouts.
